You have to do the bumper and fenders I believe. It's quite a bit of work from what I've heard.

Some people are dip shits. I think you should do it because it looks badass when it's done.

yeah some people are absolutely retarded but i know my car hasn't had a lot of logged miles...just a bunch of miles towed behind an rv and it hasn't been driven hard...so all those are pluses but the rock chips area minus... but yeah i think it would look good done right...

Yep, front fenders and bumper; the sedan bumper doesn't extend as far back as the wagon. If you're going to swap the fenders though, you would really have to do the rear fenders as well or it'd look kind of funny since the contours are very different. Unfortunately that would require some major body-work as the rear fenders are built into the frame.

If you ever see the blue wagon around with stock rims and a ski rack, he has the front end sedan conversion done. I think it looks really good without the rears done.

very true...so it has that even wide look. i think ill invest in a new paint job and some tow hooks instead :rules:

Revive from the past for some info. This is strictly for the knowledge at this point. Do you need to get the whole bumper assembly, or just the cover? Fenders and the liners are a must. Now about the rear conversion... I was checking this out one day and there is nowhere on the rear that the panels separate, it just continues all the way up to the front of the car. I know there would definitely be some cutting involved, but does anyone know where these cuts would have to be made. Again, this is for information for right now, as I don't have the resources or the money to do it right now. But I think it would be a sweet project that could occupy my time and money better than dumping a ton of dough into the engine for as little gains as the N/A engines get. Some people would call it rice because its for cosmetic purposes but I really don't give a sh*t what they think.

ive done it to my old wagon. even went further and changed it from a 02 to 05. The bumper beam stays, you will need the fenders, fender liners, and bumper. Thats all.... if you want to change the year then you will need to see my DIY on wrxmodders or i can repost it here.

UK, did you do the whole car or just the front conversion? Also, would it matter that the bumper cover for the sedan is slightly wider, in regards to using the wagon bumper beam?

:-)

bumper beam on both cars is the same its just the outer portion of the bumper that is wider and shorter in the wheel well on a sedan.
